Philanthropic Donations Come From Your Heart, but Where Do They End Up?

Here in Indonesia, we love to hear famous preachers speaks, whether the minister is from Local or Abroad. These preachers sometimes preach regarding "Prosperity". Not that there is anything wrong with prosperity per se, I believe God wants us to prosper, however to prosper materialistically takes time, wisdom, skill that one can attain for years and years before one can actually reap the harvest.

The "False Prosperity" message that seemed to be so popular is regarding the sowing of the seed. That if you saw seeds in the right soil, it will bear fruit 30,60 and even 100 times.

This Verse does not talk about money. These verse talks about the condition of one's heart, If one has a good heart that is receptive to the word, it will bear good fruit.

My objection is that these preachers has taken advantage of the desperation of people, especially Christians who wants to Get-Rich-Quick by twisting the very word of God and told people that these verse is about money. That if one sowed it in good soil in which their ministry , God will bless them 30, 60 or even 100 folds.

These statement can't be more further from the truth.

If one is to give 100 dollars at the ministry, according to the ministry God will bless it 100 folds thus becomes 100,000 dollars.

Next day if you contribute 100,000 dollars, multiply by 100, it becomes 10,000,000 dollars.

The day after tommorow if you give 10,000,000 multiply by 100 and the total sum are 1000,000,000 dollars.

And on the third day you would have own 100,000,000,000 dollars.

Yet up untill now the richest man on Planet earth are Bill Gates and even he does not have 100,000,000,000 dollars.

Where have all your money goes ? Your money has gone to purchase Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Land Banks , Private Jets of these so called servant of God yet many in their congregations has REAL financial problems and most in the brink of bankruptcy.

Ask yourself, you as the minister of whom God has entrusted a certain amount of fortune have you invest your money wisely? So many local pastors particullarly of small churches, in villages can't barely feed their families. I know a minister that has to eat one time a day in order to feed his daughter 3 times a day.
